Covenant Group FAQ

What are Covenant Groups?
Covenant Groups are small groups of people that meet together with a leader to grow relationally and spiritually . We believe God created us to live in community with others and only then can we experience the full life God intends for us.

We believe life change happens in the context of relationships.

When do they meet?
Each Covenant Group meets weekly for the duration of the semester. Each group meets at a different time and day of the week. 
Where do they meet?
Each Covenant Group meets at different locations throughout McMinn County including homes, businesses and at Hillcrest.
How long is each meeting?
Each weekly Covenant Group meeting will last between 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes unless otherwise specified in the group description.
What happens during each meeting?
During each weekly meeting you can expect to connect with others, find encouragement and support, and grow in your walk with Christ. Each group will incorporate scripture, discussion and prayer.
Is there childcare during each group?
Some of our Covenant Groups offer childcare. Groups that offer childcare will be clearly noted in the group description.
How do I know what group to choose?
Be sure to read the group descriptions and pay attention to the meeting time and location. Choose a group that fits your schedule and that sparks your interest.
Can I change groups?
Yes! We ask that you commit to a group for the duration of the Semester. Feel free to choose a different group the next semester.
